TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Yes, 3 shifts per 13 weeks Experience: 2 years preferred, 1 year accepted if Level 1/Teaching Facility experience License: Valid State License. Pending license accepted. Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Phlebotomy & Starting IVs Job Description: - Manage patients with a wide range of clinical issues including significant blood dyscrasias, advanced endocrine pathology, heart and renal failure, GI conditions, infectious diseases, asthma, and other conditions. - Work in a short-term acute care facility that is a certified magnet and teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center. - Use EPIC for charting. - Adhere to the weekend and holiday work requirements. - Be open to working within different service lines as needed. - Must have EPIC experience. - Participate in orientation and required modules. Additional Requirements: - Must be open to floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed. - Work every other weekend. - Work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. - Not open to accommodation for block schedule requests. - Must be willing to work three 12-hour shifts per week with guaranteed hours applied. - Work attire is navy blue scrubs. - Compliance with flu vaccine mandate, with medical or religious exemptions only.
