- RN/ Medical Surgical
- Start date: 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier
- Ratio- 1:4-5 for all other shifts
- Years of experience REQ: 1-2 years experience preferred
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
- Is on-call REQ?: No
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Special Requirements: Patient Diagnoses: Acute Care Patients:
Infection, Renal, Cardiac, Pulmonary, Oncology, Ortho, Bariatric,
pre-transplant, observation and Psychology, long stay, COVID
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Our patients may stay on our
unit for only a few hours to a day or so, if no beds are available,
especially during high census periods. Therefore, as nurses, we can
work with many patients in one shift as our patient turnover is
very high. An advantage to working with patient placement is the
vast variety of patient conditions we receive from the ED. Our
nurses receive additional and required training to enable them to
care for a variety of patients. So, be prepared to learn a lot of
new and challenging skills.
- Special Equipment: Alaris pumps, CPAPs, BIPAPs, Bladder
scanners, Lifts, Hover mats, EKGs, Scales
- Job Requirements
- Years of experience REQ: 1-2 years experience preferred
- Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
- Certs REQ: BLS
- Certs Pref: ACLS, CPI
- Locals accepted: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile
radius.
- Pending License accepted: Yes
- RTO Restrictions: no more than 7 days of RTO per 13 week
contract
